League Team Championship Info [07/Apr/08]
As some of you may be aware there is going to be a new competition this season. Representative teams of 3 gent recurves, 3 lady recurves and 3 compounds from the 6 regional leagues across the UK and Ireland have been invited to do battle in York on Sunday 11th May, all at 70m.
Why have this event? Well, it is intended as slightly less grand version of the World Student Games and to give those going to the World Student Games a feel of the event and a chance to shoot some qualifying scores. Technically the deadline was 31st March for these, but if you have applied already, as I understand it, these scores will be useful info for the selectors. Also for those with less lofty ambitions, competing for your League is hopefully a prestigious thing to do anyway.
