BUCS have confirmed that Sheffield will host the 2010 BUCS Indoor Archery Championships on Saturday 13th March. They are still seeking hosts for BUCS Outdoors though. BUCS Indoors will be held in Sheffield United FC's Indoor Training Academy which is apparently roughly the same size as Loughborough's hall used for the 2009 (and 2005) Champs. Sheffield last hosted this competition (then the BUSA Indoors) in back in 1996.
BUTC needs a host club. The current preferred date is Saturday 27th March, but this could move, according to availability now that BUCS Indoors is fixed. Interested clubs should contact UKSAA - the provisional bid deadline will probably be near the beginning of December.
BUCS Outdoors also needs a host club. If you think you might be interested, then contact Aaron Campbell at BUCS on aaron.campbell@@bucs.org.uk
Also, to be considered for the first round of the ELeague, any scores shot during September and October must be submitted to the E-League website by Thursday 5th November. The opening set of League Tables should then be published two days after that.
Last season Edinburgh won both BUCS titles and the E-League with Nottingham winning BUTC. Remarkably Warwick finished runners up across the board, whilst Oxford (BUCS Indoors), Lancaster (BUTC), Nottingham (E-League) and Southampton (BUCS Outdoors) were all bronze medallists.
