BUCS Indoors & SAG News [17/Oct/14]

Loughborough will be the host university when BUCS Indoor comes to Telford on 7th February. However, due to the sheer scale of the tournament if any other clubs want to be involved, then get in touch with Steven Johnson, the BUCS Archery Sports Advisory Group (SAG) Chair. All assistance welcome.

As for Loughborough, they finished 4th at BUCS Outdoors 2014 and were also BUTC semi-finalists. Loughborough have won 3 national university titles, most recently in 1998. In recent years they have been regulars in the BUCS points scoring top eight.

On the subject of the SAG, Steven Johnson has successfully reapplied for a second 3 year term as Chair. He'll be in the Chair's chair until 2017. Bethany Woodcock remains in position as Participation Advisor, whist Kieran Dexter has replaced Chris Wells as Indoor Technical Delegate.

However, the SAG now has three vacant roles, with the departures of Ashleigh McCloud (Outdoor Technical Delegate), Naomi Jones (Performance Adviser) and Chris Blake (Communications Adviser). Any student, alumni or interested person can apply for the positions. The group formally meet once a year at the indoor championships, but things will need to be done throughout the year when required.

Job descriptions below, please send any expressions of interest to BUCSArcheryChair@@gmail.com by Friday 28th November.
