Who writes this rubbish? (Or doesn't) [01/Dec/25]

The eagle-eyed amongst you - indeed, is there any other kind of UKSAA website visitor? - may have noticed that the UKSAA website has been running on something of a reduced capacity in recent months. For both professional and personal reasons, the Editor has found time and energy levels for UKSAA-related tasks at something of a premium. Editorial articles have most certainly been a casualty, although hopefully the Home Page news section has kept things ticking over.

Last weekend alone, there was a smorgasboard of regional activity, taking place in (deep breath) Bath, Birmingham, Derby, Dundee, Imperial, Lancaster, Liverpool, Loughborough, Northampton, Reading, Strathclyde, Surrey and Sussex. However, before the Editor dives more deeply into those waters, there are a couple of nationwide issues to deal with first.

BUCS Indoors dates are all up and live in the BUCS Indoor section. The locations for the 3 Regional Qualifiers (Aberdeen, Manchester and Bristol) and the National Final (Warwick) are all the same as last year. So are the minimum required scores to enter. Note that the entry deadline is very early in the new year, Tuesday 6th January.

As usual, the Institution Administrators deadline is 48 hours later, i.e. Thursday 8th January. Find out if your Students Union closes down over the Festive period so that you are not left high and dry.

BUTC and E-League announcements will follow in the coming days.

Is it too much to hope for a UKSAA editorial every day in December like some sort of terrible advent calendar? Maybe if the Editor ever learns to keep things short.
