Results from SSS match 5 (held in February), the separate SSS Indoor Champs (xxth Mar) and SSS Outdoor Champs (th/th Apr) are all available on the SSS 2025/26 page. Dundee finish second in match 5 to win the overall SSS league title. Edinburgh won match 5 itself and also won the Indoor Champs team title.
League match 5 and the Indoor Champs used a WA18. The Outdoor Champs was a WA900. Meanwhile, a correction to the results from match 4 that meant heading into match 5, Dundee and Heriot-Watt should have both been listed on 53 points with St Andrews not far behind on 51. Heriot-Watt were actually
Edinburgh - who had won matches 1 and 4, but not shot at match 2, picked up a third match win, with a WA18 team of 4 total of 2017. They were closely pursued by Dundee on 1995. Crucially for the destination of the league title, Dundee finished well clear of Heriot-Watt and St Andrews. Saints took third on 1858, with Heriot-Watt fourth on 1845. Misha Pavlov (Dundee) top scored by quite some distance in the match with 574. Selin Busoni (Edinburgh) and Mita Tesar (St Andrews) shot 525 and 521. Heriot-Watt won the novice match with 1093, ahead of St Andrews with 1045. C Long Lee (Heriot-Watt) and Amber Kennedy (St Andrews) were in the 430s.
These results would mean that after 5 matches, Dundee claim a fourth consecutive SSS senior league crown on 67 points - but they were made to work harder for this one after a stumble in match 4. Heriot-Watt finished second on 65, with St Andrews on 64. Edinburgh - with 3 match wins, but 1 DNS - were fifth. Heriot-Watt took the novice title on 74 points. St Andrews were second on 65. Strathclyde were fourth senior and third novice team overall.
Abertay were 6th in the overall league and won the SSS compound league - in both cases all time bests for the club.
SSS Championship events do not count towards the league standings.
At SSS Indoor Champs, Edinburgh picked up another win, with a WA18 team of 4 total of 2052. This time they were a shade over 100 points clear, with Strathclyde in second - their best match result of the season on 1945 and Dundee third on 1924. Misha Pavlov (Dundee) top scored again with 557. Grant McLellan (Strathclyde) on 535. Selin Busoni and Jingnan Zhang (both Edinburgh) were at either end of the 520s. Heriot-Watt won the novice team component of the day with 1144 - exactly 100 clear of Strathclyde. Top novices were Kyna Forbes (Edinburgh) on 421 and Derek Warwick (Heriot-Watt) with 417.
SSS Outdoors results have been published. They do not have team scores calculated, but on the WA900 round, Misha Pavlov (Dundee) was top on 782, with Kelsey Hunt (Strathclyde) narrowly pipping Selin Busoni (Edinburgh) to top scoring female recurve, 611 to 605. Top novice was Lewis Xue (Edinburgh) on 518. SSS Outdoors was held in Edinburgh and concluded the SSS season.
Final standings and match results are on the SSS 2025/26 page.
