Calm before the (results) storm [23/Feb/24]
We have had a brief lull in regional results recently. One BUCS regional qualifier, Central, has already been held (17th Feb), with Southern (24th Feb) and Northern (25th Feb) Qualifiers to follow this weekend.
NEUAL, SEAL and SWWU will all extract one set of league results from these scores. Regional Leagues and the Regional Qualifiers don't match up neatly, so no League results will be determined until after the end of the Qualifiers. TOUCAN match 3 will also conclude on 24th Feb, with Nottingham Trent hosting the last part of that fixture against Nottingham and Birmingham. In fact every league except SSS will have results to declare this weekend, i.e. everyone in England and Wales, so please excuse any delays in getting the results up on UKSAA!
Of course the immediate purpose of the BUCS Regional Qualifiers is to determine who qualifies for BUCS Indoor National Finals (Warwick, 16th Mar) so watch out for those combined results going up on the BUCS website - they'll be reported on UKSAA too. You can follow live scores on ianseo.
NEUAL and TOUCAN matches 2 and 3 are both currently ongoing. Those fixtures were split over multiple weekends, with hosting issues at play. A quirk of the rescheduling now means that TOUCAN match 2 (2nd Mar) will finish after TOUCAN match 3 (24th Feb).
SSS match 5 was shot on 10th Feb, but those results are not being made public until the SSS Indoor Championships on 2nd Mar.
