There have been relatively few changes amongst the regional league organisers for the 2024/25 season. The biggest change comes at TOUCAN HQ, where Katie Axup (Loughborough) is the new league organiser. She now heads up a team, with Ewan Kennett (Nottingham) specifically in charge of TOUCAN division 1, Charlotte Deal (De Montfort) running division 2, Lucy Hubbert (Loughborough) running TOUCAN's social media presence with Faye Balcombe (Leicester) as TOUCAN's Data and Rules Officer. TOUCAN's new main email address is toucanleagueorganiser@gmail.com.
Gabriella Saksono (Dundee) moves up from vice chair to running SSS. She'll be assisted by two new vice chairs, Sam Chapman (Heriot-Watt) and Cornelia Svensson (UWS). Alex Williams (Bristol) now chairs SWWU along with Alex Camaly (Exeter), both returning from last year. They are now joined by Asher Smart (Exeter).
NEUAL (Juliet Spedding, Philip Taylor, Jake Livingstone) and SEAL (James Jackson and Katya Sephton) retain their organising teams.
In other regional news, Bangor are set to move from SWWU to NEUAL this season. The move will significantly cut travel times for Bangor and hopefully boost their participation levels accordingly. Driving from Bangor to/from anywhere else in SWWU (apart from Aberystwyth) is 4 hours plus. By contrast, most NEUAL clubs are up to 3 hours away.
