BUTTS league match 2 was conducted over the weekends of the 18th and 25th November. Warwick won the senior match very narrowly despite the atttentions of Birmingham, with Loughborough third in a repeat of the BUTTS match 1 podium. Similarly repeating match 1, Birmingham won the novice match ahead of Cambridge.
In the first half of match 2, Nottingham posted a 50+ point improvement on match 1, to score 2211. It was Warwick who set the pace however, with a score of 2297. A week later, Birmingham and Loughborough both did enough to beat the 2211. Birmingham took second on 2294 - how crucial could those three points be at the end of the season? Loughborough took third place again, despite 2267. Oxford were fifth in the match on 2125.
