E-League Results and Reminder [01/Feb/23]
Results from E-League Round 2 November have now been published on the E-League website. E-League Round 3 December/January has just finished and scores can be submitted up until Tue 7th Feb. E-League Round 4 February has just begun.
In other news, the list of accepted entries and allocated venues for BUCS Indoors Regional Qualifiers has been published. There were 772 accepted. Also, there has been a result in BUTTS divison 2.
Warwick claimed maximum points in E-League Round 2 with 2283, just 5 points ahead of Oxford. Trailing behind the top two, three clubs were nestled around the 2200 mark. Birmingham got 2201, with Plymouth on exactly 2200 and Nottingham - who won the first round - were fifth on 2192. SEAL teams occupied 5 of the next 6 places, led by Southampton in sixth overall.
The gents recurve top two was the same as in Round 1, with James Woodgate (Warwick) first ahead of Yang Pei (Oxford) second. In round 2, Max Harding and Dominic Kelsey (both Nottingham) were third and fourth. The top 3 women were closely sandwiched together in round 2. Shauna Punjabi (Royal Holloway) topped an E-League round for the first time as she edged out Hannah Evans (Nottingham) and Imogen Newby (Surrey).

In the first BUTTS division 2 match of the year Coventry took top spot with 2089. Leicester narrowly saw off Lincoln for second 2025 to 2012. Northampton trailed in fourth. The teams finished in the same order in the novice team match. Division 2's top 3 would all have been more than competitive with the lower half of the two main BUTTS division matches that have taken place this season.
One slice of the main division's match 3 has already taken place, with Birmingham and Cambridge having shot. The other 7 BUTTS teams are competing this (4th/5th Feb) weekend, alongside SWWU match 4 and SEAL non-recurve match 2.
