Third different SWWU match winner [20/Dec/22]
Bristol won a closely contested SWWU match 3, narrowly ahead of Exeter and Bath. Those three clubs have now won one SWWU match each this season. Results from NEUAL match 1 and E-League Round 2 November are pending.
In SWWU match 3 itself, this time it was defending league champions Bristol who took first place, but only 18 points covered the top three teams. Bristol scored exactly 2100, with Exeter just behind on 2094 and Bath in third on 2082. Those three teams have now been the top 3 finishers in the three SWWU matches to date, winning one each. This leaves the table delicately poised, with Exeter staying top on 28 points, but Bristol leapfrogging Bath on 27 and 26. For the third match in succession UWE were fourth, with a score in the 1990s. They are fourth overall on 21. Gerald Ngai (Bath) was the top individual score in the match.
In the equivalent novice match Bath scored a (team of 4) total of 1648, with Swansea in second. Ali Fatemi (Swansea) and barebow Cameron Attwood (Bristol) were top novices in the low 470s. This was the first SWWU match to have all 7 currently competing clubs. Bath have won all three novice fixtures to date. Bath are well clear at the top - they last won the SWWU novice league in 2014/15. Swansea won the compound match and go top of that table.

Elsewhere results for NEUAL match 1 have been delayed. Two out of the four parts of the match ended up having to be held as postals and results are still coming in. Of the six clubs that have declared scores so far, Durham have the highest team of 4 tally.
E-League Round 2 November results are expected to be published some time in or around the new year. Round 3 of the E-League comprises December and January taken together, so the score submission deadline for that isn't until 7th February.
