BUTC bid deadline announced [26/Nov/07]
The deadline for any university bidding to host the sixth running of BUTC is 17:00 on Fri 7th Dec. By that time a bid document must have been received in the UKSAA mailbox, studentarchery@@yahoo.co.uk, to be considered. I will send a confirmation email to all bidders. The preferred date for hosting BUTC has moved to Sat 8th Mar 2008, as we can't wait forever and at time of writing, BUSA Indoors appears to not have a confirmed host or date.

As has been publicised before we are hoping to hold a 70m inter-regional league team event in the early summer and it looks as though this will be on the same weekend as the NEUAL Outdoor Champs. Details will be published here once confirmed. Teams for this event will be the top three Gents Recurve, Ladies Recurve and Compound (Mixed) per league and there will be a FITA 720 qualifying round and both team and individual head to head matches.
News on the British regional league matches will follow shortly, but last weekend, across the water, results for the first Irish Inter-Varsity League match have been published. Last season's runners up UC Dublin won the opening leg with 2537 ahead of NUI Galway on 2507. Defending champions Dublin IT held on to third in the match but trailed 200 points behind. Nine sides contested the leg, full results in the IIVL section.
