After Cambridge's win in the November section, Edinburgh came out on top from scores gathered around the turn of the year - December 2006 and January 2007 are counted together as one "month". Edinburgh's 2319 was just enough to fend off a 2307 from the Light Blues. Warwick, third in all three "months" so far notched 2271. Edinburgh have 29 points at this stage, Cambridge 28 and Warwick 24. York lie fourth on 20 points.
B teams can rise no higher than Division 2. And who do we find at the top of division 2 but Edinburgh B and Cambridge B. This time they are level on points, Edinburgh B have a slightly superior average. These two B teams recorded the third and fifth highest team aggregates this month. Top A side in the division are third placed Keele.
Individually, gents recurve is dominated by Cambridge archers who occupy four of the top five places. Top of the pile however is Andrew O'Connor (Keele). Andrew Ward (Edinburgh) secured 40 individual points in Dec/Jan by recording the top recurve and the top compound score - a double double since he also achieved the feat in November. Ward leads the compound division with maximum points. Edinburgh duo Emma Downie and Jenny Jeppsson dominate the ladies standings. Jeppsson took 20 points this month to close the gap back to 59-58 in Downie's favour. Georgina Porter (York) is third.
Cambridge, Edinburgh and Keele supply all the top five individual recurve novices. Unsurprisingly, the trio lead the novice division in that order.
