The first thing to note is that if you've booked tickets to Belgium, it's time to contact your travel agent because the competition has now moved to Legnica in south-west Poland. It will take place between the 2nd and 5th July 2014. The heat of central Europe in July might seem a world away right now, but the application deadlines are in early January.
Secondly, on 4th December, BUCS and Archery GB announced their combined nomination/selection criteria. All the usual criteria about age and nationality are in place. Quick reminder that eligibility is based on the nationality of the individual and not the location of the university. Non-UK students should therefore contact their relevant "home" governing bodies.
Archery GB's Selection Policy document details the qualifying scores and the financial costs for competitors.
Archers who wish to compete must complete BUCS' online nomination form and submit a hard copy of the supporting documentation. Archers must also contact Stephanie Kelly, Archery GB's Performance Coordinator, with their intentions and the selection shoot entry fee.
The deadline for contacting Archery GB and BUCS is Saturday 4th January 2014, now less than one month away. The European Senior Selection Shoot on 31 May/1 June 2014 at Lilleshall NSC will be used (as necessary) to select the team.

The 2019 Summer Universiade was recently awarded to Brasilia.
