Thirteen Hosts [15/Sep/12]
Nottingham, Loughborough and Edinburgh won BUCS Indoor, BUTC and BUCS Outdoor in 2012, so where will they be defending their respective titles? Hosts for the 2013 editions of all three tournaments are actively being sought. The sooner the better as this will help to sort out the calendar.
BUTC is looking for both a venue and a host club. You need a hall capable of hosting 16 bosses, a lot of volunteers, somewhere for spectators to yell and scream and a post-event social. Two of the most recent three tournaments have been jointly hosted affairs - a useful reminder that neighbouring clubs are a good source for additional helpers, so ask around. Space permitting, host clubs get their B team automatically included, as a thank you.

Both BUCS Championships are also looking for host clubs. Host clubs will be running these events remotely and AFS are on hand to assist, so contact the BUCS SAG. BUCS' Season's Information and Rules & Regulations documents for archery have not yet been published.
Additional note that the Indoors will be held on Sat 2nd Mar at Telford International Centre, whilst the Outdoors will be on Sat 15th Jun at Lilleshall NSC. Host universities TBC.
One competition which doesn't need a host is the E-League, where Edinburgh and Warwick produced an unbelievably close photo-finish last year. 2012/13 Round 1 runs throughout September and October, so submit those Portsmouth scores by Bonfire Night.
Some notes from the summer - Danielle Brown won gold at the Paralympics, beating team-mate Mel Clarke in the ladies compound final at the Royal Artillery Barracks. Andrew Randall (Nottingham) won bronze at the Archery GB National Series.
